Day 11: What is a mantra you live by?

Ever since I graduated from secondary school, this has been the mantra I live by everyday. I have this habit of being too hard on myself, always comparing myself to others. It's unfair to do that I know. Everyone's different, each of us have our own paths to take. If I continue to focus on what others have accomplished, I will never finish what I started. Maybe I could make use of that as an inspiration/motivation rather than being obsessed about how others have gone so far.

Day 10: What made you laugh today?

I read Reddit like it's a newspaper. Every morning I'll go through my feed and see what's up. Today was no different, and I found this particular post quite funny. I kinda wish I had that boots for the fun of it and to troll lmao. I definitely did nazi that joke coming 😂

Day 9: What emotions do you feel in January?

I'm not going to lie to you guys. 2017 scares me. When I entered the year 2017 from the past aka 2016(sorry that's lame 😂), I was terrified of what to come. New Years felt a lil different from the previous New Years I've celebrated. There's that silent realisation, not a bad one. There's nothing special about New Years except for the fact that it's no longer 2017 and I'm 10 months from turning 22 haha. Did I tell you guys that I no longer have a New Year Resolution thingy bajingy. Why must we only make a change when the clock strikes midnight and another year has passed by? Why not make a change anytime/day of the year aye? Hmmmmm

Day 8: Who are you missing? What is one thing you can do to reconnect with them today?

First of all, if you guys don't know, I'm actually from Philippines and my family migrated to Singapore when I was 9 years old. So all of my relatives are back home. We occasionally go back for vacation but that's like a once in a blue moon thing. If I'm not wrong, the last time we went back was about 2+ years ago? And that was only for 2 weeks. I was still schooling then, so were my sibling and my parents were quite busy with work. So yeah. Hopefully this February I'll be able to accompany my mom to visit my grandparents from my mom's side. Things are not going well for them, health-wise that is. I guess by now you would have guess who am I missing now, aight. So that's that. I hope I'll see my grandparents soon. Sigh. As of now, my grandma from my dad's side usually calls us in the mornings via video call on Facebook. My grandma is so techie. Maybe you guys should add her haha. Thank God with technology. It really comes in handy for situations like this.

Day 7: Write a short list of 10 traits that you hope to embody throughout the year. Pick one to focus on this month.

The following traits I would like to embody are not only for this year but throughout my lifetime. Take note that some of the traits stated below I still need improvement on hehe 😆 Anyways, without any further ado, here's the list:

  1. Adaptable*
  2. Balanced
  3. Calm*
  4. Charismatic
  5. Confidence*
  6. Decisive*
  7. Forgiving
  8. Open
  9. Consistent*
  10. Sociable*
Traits with * needs more improvement

I guess for this month it would be confidence? Really need this one at the moment.

P.S
Sorry for the late post peeps 🙊

Day 6: What do you hope to learn in 2017?

What do I hope to learn in 2017? I want to learn how to cycle. Yes, to cycle. I've been meaning to learn since I was maybe 9 or 10? But never got around to doing it because we didn't have our own bicycle. But since I've already bought one for my family, I can make that dream come trueeeeeeee. Hehehe.  But first I've got to fix its tires. I'm pretty sure that's not the only thing I want to learn in 2017. I'll just update along the way aye, along with my progress in cycling :)

P.S
The bicycle in the picture kinda resembles my own bicycle
